I am SO glad you went to the effort to do this for us! WOW. I am horrible at excel and have tried to do this myself. So excited, thank you thank you. I am posting this on my site because this is exactly how I keep track of my food storage. Awesome job ladies.

when you hit a cell where the drop down menu should appear scroll up in the drop down menu. The drop down menu shows the bottom of the list so if you don’t have the full 100 ingredients it “appears” as though it is blank. Also, any cells that you are “supposed” to type in wont give you the read only problem if you are typing in cells that automatically fill themselves in, it will give you an error.
If this doesn’t help you, email your file to info@foodstoragemadeeasy.net and I will go in and see if there is something else going on and help you save all the information you’ve put in . Its such a wonderful tool to have for inventory and helping you know what to buy, so I want to make sure you can get it working

Hi. I have a question about your 3 month food supply worksheet. I watched the video and started filling out the columns just like you said. When I got to step 3, it will not do the drop-down menu to fill in the ingredients. Also, when I try to go back up and do step 4, it is locked in a “read only” format. Any suggestions how to remedy this? Help would be appreciated. I hate to lose all of the info I’ve already input for all of the meals.

I will be uploading a new one Monday or Tuesday with more than 5 ingredients per meal, and 100 ingredients total. I guess I’m just boring and bland in my cooking … hehe. I’ve been asked this before so look for it early this week.

I love your spreadsheet and I am so excited to start using it. You are awesome for sharing it with everyone. I just have one question (so far), Some of my dishes have more that 5 ingredients. Is there a way for me to add more ingredients?
