Thank you, thank you and thank you!! We had a wonderful time trying out all our disaster supplies and finding out what we will need for future emergencies. I was tickled pink to see that I won a Dr Kno CD. Can't wait for it to come. Want to try out some of his suggestions too.
Hubby says, why not do this in the coldest part of winter to see just who would be ready for the same kinds of emergencies when the weather isn't as good as it was this past week.
Anyway – really loved doing this & will be first in line for the next one!!

Who won twice? We tried really hard to make sure that didn't happen. Good eyes if you caught one that we missed. We did random number generators for each day's questionnaires and facebook posts and lots of people commented in both places on multiple days. So it was inevitable that we would get some duplicates. But we tried to pick new ones if it was a duplicate.

Not to be a poor sport, but I don't think it's really fair that someone won twice. But overall I really enjoyed the chance to test out the skills and supplies. Can't wait to do it again, hopefully you guys will make this an annual or semi-annual event.

Could I make a suggestion? If you do this again next year, could you not do it during the height of canning season? Maybe in Oct.? But other than that it was a great exercise.

I think there was a Stephen in there! lol. We just did random number generators for all the prizes and we had very few men participating. We LOVE having men interact with us but for some reason they must not like all the pink of our site

hey, when can we do this again? btw dh and i just had a mini challenge today after we dropped our dd off at pre-k. we had to stay out of the house for a cuple of hours so we went to the park. we went to the market so i could get gelatin and a fruit bowl for my dessert!!!
