Your last year's goals sound a lot like my THIS year's goals!! I just got my first pressure canner, and loads of jars so I'm really excited about canning...especially my own meat! Planting a huge garden and a small orchard, with my green-thumbed father's assistance too. We had a small food storage (about four months worth) that we lived off of when my husband lost his job. We're doing much better now that he's working from home, so we're on the road to building it back up and working on a long term (year) supply at the same time.

I love your network. I've been spending a lot of time at Everydayfoodstorage.net, and watching all of the videos you great gals have put on You Tube. I tell you, You Tube is now one of my closest friends! I've learned so much in the past week, even though I've been glued to my computer.

Thank you so much for your Excel calculator. I altered it a bit to suit my own needs, and added some columns and new formulas for my years supply so that I could see everything at a glance on the same page. I feel very blessed to have found your site, and want you to know that you are making such a wonderful impact on families all over. Thank you, and may your homes be blessed with abundance in the coming year.

In the new year, I'll be starting a new job in a new area and in a new place with a basement for storage. I just signed up for your emails. My goal is to get all the emergency kits up to 3 month storage by mid-summer. Wish me luck, and thanks for figuring all this out so I don't have to!
