Let’s say the sale item is Western Family brand. Will Walmart honor the coupon price for that item if the brands don’t match? Walmart doesn’t carry western family.

I believe they get all of the sale prices from the ads in the paper, so you could use deals to meals to find out what you want to buy and print your shopping list, then just grab the ads for the stores you are planning to price match from. I believe they make all of their sale prices off of those store ads so you should be able to “prove” the price that way.
