I am so excited, I just reached 50 days of food storage for my family of 7! Starting in January I've been averaging 10 days a month. I have been utilizing the food storage analyzer at the Emergency Essentials website and find it so easy to keep track. When I began the task seems so daunting but your website and the Babysteps checklists have been encouraging and fun. Just got checklist#21 and it suggests dehydrated fruits and vegetables, what a cooincidence, we just researched and purchased a dyhydrator 2 weeks ago! I bought a Nesco American Harvest, square with 4 trays, thermostat and fan in the lid and have made beef jerky, dried tomatoes, carrots and strawberries. Think I will try onions and celery next. Thank you so much for your website and making food storage fun.

Try downloading a free program called Open Office (they have a Mac version, just can't remember what it's called).

When I open it in Numbers I get the following warnings:

Missing Font - Bradley Hand ITC
Import Warning - Indents in table cells were imported but aren’t editable.
Import Warning - Hyperlinks on shapes aren’t supported and were removed.
Import Warning - Frozen panes or split windows aren’t supported and were removed.
Import Warning - Cells in a hidden column or row were unhidden to show merged cells.
Import Warning - Sorting criteria were removed.

So it's not totally compatible, and it also states that the sorting criteria were removed (for whatever reason).

I'm not familiar with numbers, however I just right click the cell in excel, and then, format cells, then alignment. Are there any options that sound like that when you select the meal cells?

What I would do, is go to your downloads file. It might be there. Also when I download files before working on them I try to save them to my documents right away, cause the default is to save them to a downloads file, and I can't always remember that! If you don't know where your downloads file is, try downloading another file from the internet, and when you click save as, it will show where it is, click the back arrows and you should see the file directory path. Hope that made sense! It's hard to explain. The file is compatible though - for sure

I downloaded your Excel program and spent three days entering everything in my storage area. When I went to save it, there was a comment about some cells were not compatible (called a minor problem by Excel) and asked if I wanted to continue to save. I clicked continue....and EVERYTHING vanished. Everything. It is not in my documents, nor Excel documents. WHAT did I do wrong?? I have Microsoft Excel 2007. Is it not compatible with your charts?
