I put this information on a google doc and shared with family and friends that need to know this type of information. Was an easy way for me to get the information to them and easy way to update…. especially since I am in Hawaii. Thanks for all the tips!

If you are doing emergency planning for an aged parent, you might also check out your local area Agency for the Aging website. They have many tips, including emergency planning for the aged.

Karen, The order of the checklists doesn’t really matter much beyond the first few. So I would just jump in where you are right now and work on the purchasing assignments for each list as you get it. When you get to the end you can go back to the earlier lists and work on them every few weeks. Hope that helps!

Help! I am really discouraged. I started out with food storage 10 baby steps emails and was going along very well until number six.But… life intervened. HaHa! Pnuemonia, broken bones, and other distractions. Should I start all over again from the beginning of the checklists or try to catch up. I have just received Checklist 16.

I’m not sure? Maybe you could measure how much water you leave out for them in a day, and then measure at the end of day and keep track for a week – then see how much they would need? Just an idea.
