I thank you for all of your hard work, and want you to know that the info you have posted is making a daunting task seem manageable. :) My question is this...with your Long Term Food Storage Excel Calculator, how many calories per day are we getting? My plan is for 2 adults, 3 children, for 12 months. I haven't been able to find information to know if this will be a bare minimum of 1200 adult calories per day, or a heftier amount which I need to supplement with other foods to feel more like normal. We live out in the country in Oregon. Worst case scenario, long term, no power... solar ovens wouldnt work around here, thinking aside from a camp stove/propane, why not learn to cook on top of the wood stove?
