Everyday Food Storage Blogger at Utah State Fair

Thanks to everyone who helped to support Crystal from the Everyday Food Storage blog by voting on her recipe for the Utah’s Own Down Home Cook Off competition. She was one of the top two finalists and was part of a cook-off at the Utah State Fair today. We weren’t able to hit the state fair today to view the contest in person but we watched her on KUTV during the 12:00 news. Crystal was fantastic on t.v. and it was really fun to get to see her share her talent with a large audience. Even though she ended up not winning 1st place we just wanted to congratulate her on making it so far and helping to spread the word about the importance of food storage and learning how to use it. Stay tuned because we are going to be interviewing Crystal sometime in the next few weeks for a special feature article on our blog!

Even though we didn’t get to catch up with Crystal at the Utah State Fair today, we WERE able to meet another food storage guru there (on a different day). But we’ll save that for another post!
