I’m so excited to be a part of the Grow Your Own Food Workshop coming up next month (starts April 3rd). Gardening is definitely NOT my area of expertise but it’s something I try to practice a little on every year. Sometimes with a little success and sometimes with a lot of failure.
For the Workshop I’m going to be teaching about why and how to plan a year’s worth of food for your garden. I will cover some questions to think about, such as do you just want this to eat or do you want it for extra food storage? Then I am going to be introducing a new planning worksheet which is NOT on the blog. This will help you make your garden plan based on your needs for the year, and help you track it over time so that you can adjust and learn from your results each year.
After you make your plan you can learn from all of the master gardeners who are participating and they will walk you through the entire process of actually creating your garden for the year. I’m really looking forward to learning as well as sharing. This is going to be a fabulous event.
Make sure to sign up for the FREE workshop and there is a special discount offer after you sign up to participate in a larger gardening summit afterwards. Both events will be well worth your time.
